Hello everyone and welcome new followers,
I’m trying to get back into the swing of things after taking some time to get over writer’s block and the depressing outcome of the most recent election here in the U.S. The outcome threw me off my writing stride when I realized a couple of the events I created in my alternate timeline for the Silver Hunter world were coming to pass in the real world only sooner than I’d planned for the books. But enough about politics, you’re hear to learn about what’s coming to your e-reader from Kethric Wilcox.
First out this year will be The Curse, book one of the Origin of the Vampires trilogy. Set in mostly in the early 22nd Century, what originally was planned as a short story has turned into an archeological/religious/romance thriller and is currently looking to be about 100,000 word novel. The book follows Dr. Jeremiah Banks, an archeologist and college professor at the University of Arizona in the Republic of Texas; and Professor Juan Di Vargas, the Ferdinand II Chair of Ancient Theology at the University of Madrid in the Holy Roman Empire as they follow the clues laid out in the pages of a mysterious collection of journal pages supposedly written by Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, and the first vampire, and containing notes from Richard St. Martin, better known to some as Lord Hunter and to others as Lord Slayer, the new lord of all vampires.
The pair along with Dr. Banks’ graduate students will navigate the political-religious landscape as they search for the lost city behind the story of Enoch, while dodging the attacks of rival factions led by vampires so ancient they are known as the Primordials.
Following The Curse, the plan is to finish writing The Goldilocks Pledge, which is book one in the Legacy of the Silver Hunter trilogy. The Legacy books will follow the impact Kieran and Cory Belle-Cooper lives had on various couples in their extend family. The Goldilocks Pledge will feature Ian and Billy Belle-Cooper as the main pairing as they grow into their role as the Archivist of the House of Beauty. As you might gather this tale will twist the fable of Goldilocks and the Three Bears into a new tale.
After The Goldilocks Pledge, I’ll be working on book two of both the Vampire and Legacy trilogies, Lord Hunter (Vampires) and Ruby Wine (Legacy).
